Tell me a few thing about Foreign Legion
Foreign Legion formed in valleys mining town of merthyr tydfil in 1984 south wales ALL THE BAND MEMBERS CAME FROM MERTHYR BAND PUNK /OI DEAD ON ARRIVAL …FOREIGN LEGION PLAYED UP AND DOWN WALES ENGLAND PLAYED SOME GREAT GIGS PICKED UP A LOT OF FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY MET SOME VERY NICE PEOPLE FROM FANZINES LABELS, PROMOTERS RADIO BAND MEMBERS ETC..TO DATE THE BAND HAVE PLAYED WELL OVER 300 GIGS PLAYED 12 DIFFERENT COUNTRYS WANT TO ADD TO THE LIST THE HAVE RELEASED VARIOUS TRACKS ON COMP CDS WORLDWIDE RELEASED 4 STUDIO ALBUMS AND ARE WAITING FOR THEIR 8TH EP SINGLE SPLIT WITH PARIS VIOLENCE FRANCE .

You released a new album Death Valley at Durty Mick. How did things go? Are you pleased?

You shared the stage with many punk bands like 999,Vice Squad,Angelic Upsatrts,Beerzone. Where was the best?Which was the best gig ever?
We have played some great gigs along the way CBGBS NEW YORK CITY usa with: run like hell, templars, major accident, apa, ny relix what a night one hell of a show abaton Prague september 2006 Czech Republic one hell of a night party kids want nuts.cant wait to play the anti fest czech rep august 2007 with cockney rejects,sham 69,resistance 77, stiffs ,discharge.
By the way, who’s the lucky girl you talk about in the “she loves me not” lyrics?a childhoud memory?haha
She loves me she loves me not.. bad memory of life its about mrs maggie thatcher she closed everything down fucked the country up big time.

About “party in Prague”… do you have many fans there?where did you feel best? (considering you played in other countries in Europe too)
Album track Party in prague on new album Death Valley we has such a great time over there thanks to the promoters tiger heroes, freinds, bands etc we wrote a track straight after we had 700 people at the show 1st time in the czech rep the lads had one big party after the show lots of food plenty of czech beer ..too be really honest all european shows have been very very good .
Tell me a few bands that have influenced you and FL.
I would say band that in the early days we were influenced by Cock Sparrer, Sham 69, Angelic Upstarts, clash, undertones, Buzzcocks… later years Dropkick Murphys, Adicts, Major Accident.
Where do you see yourself in let’s say… 10 years from now?
Where would i see us in 10 years time really hope to be still playing shows worldwide, still recording albums talking to all the great fanzines out there
Any plans foe a tour in Eastern Europe?
We are in talks now about playing Romania and Hungary maybe Serbia really would love to meet up with everyone over there …lets,s get it on .
Tell me honestly if you know anything about Romania (except for this fabulous zine hihihi)
I do know about this great zine also about Bollox Just Oi zine Cezar boyo great mate see you soon ,i know all about your league teams saw the national side play Wales Hagi what a player ..i know all about your wonderful mountains saw all the tv programmes about the lost young children really sad to see this ,never met dracula yet, i checked all the tv news about Ceascescu 80s 90s hope you all have better life now ..the Destroi crew told me about their show and they were really looked after over there nice beers hi hi.
